Red Team (M) Sdn. Bhd. was incorporated in 2002, provides Engineering Services in the Ports Equipment and Maintenance serving both the Domestic and International clients. Projects undertaken include Project Management Team for Port Authority for new crane acquisitions in the monitoring and compliances of quality assurance during stage of crane fabrication, installation, erection and commissioning.

Red Team is also involved in various retrofitting, refurbishments and system upgrading on Rubber Tyred Gantry Cranes (RTG) and Quay Cranes (QC). In 2011, Red Team became the first company in Malaysia to convert ten (10) units existing RTGs which runs on diesel into Electric driven Rubber Tyred Gantry Cranes (E-RTG). In the same year too, Red Team had also supply and installed the first if its kind – eight (8) units of Rail Mounted Gantry Cranes (RMGCs).

In Malaysia, Red Team is the appointed and Sales Representative for Drive and Control System (TMEIC, USA), Brake and Hydraulic Power Unit (ICAN, Japan), Trim List and Skew (COSMIC, Japan), BROMMA spreader and related ports equipment spare parts.

Red Team has also diversified its services into the Oil & Gas industry by contracting works in the onshore steel structures works. We have expanded our service by having our own fabrication yard in Kemaman, Terengganu, to provide both steel structure fabrication works and plant maintenance services mainly for PETRONAS related companies in Malaysia.

Red Team has been selected as one of the few in-house contractors for the Malaysia Marine and Heavy Engineering Sdn Bhd at Pasir Gudang and Petronas group of companies.

In November 2014, Red Team has been certified ISO 9001 : 2008 by Lloyd Register. This certification shall contribute positively for our business processes and continuous improvements in our company.
